Mission
Vision
The whole team of Luis Molina Acedo, S.A. aims to be the world’s leading company in high quality liturgical goldsmithing, offering its customers the best possible value for money and impeccable service.
Luis Molina Acedo, S.A. is ready to face the challenge of reconciling an eminently handcrafted production process with the quality standards of the current technological era and to continue its international development, especially in areas where its diffusion was limited until now.
Luis Molina Acedo began working as an apprentice goldsmith when he was only 15 years old in the Plata y Bronce workshops in Madrid, run by his father, Luis Molina Pérez. There he learned all the ancient techniques used by European goldsmiths, as well as the basics of artistic drawing. Soon he was already designing and building fine articles of ecclesiastical silverware that were sold throughout Spain.
Luis Molina Acedo emigrates to Ecuador with his wife and son, establishing a small silversmith workshop in Quito. His reputation is growing rapidly among the active Christian community in South America.
Opens a second workshop in Lima, Peru.
In the mid 50's he returned to Spain and in 1960 he founded the current workshops in Madrid, fulfilling his dream.
The workforce now exceeds 50 skilled workers, while the old European religious goldsmith workshops were beginning to disappear.
A distribution and logistics center is created in Warwick, Rhode Island to channel all products and services to our network of distributors in North America.
The company was awarded the Gold Medal by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid for its annual export volume in those years.
